Seed enterprises, input and agro-chemical companies rely on professional input retailers for their business succes. CNFA, IFC and SCOPEinsight took the initiative to develop the SCOPE Input Retailer as there was a need identified to measure the level of professionalism of input retailers in various programs of CNFA and IFC. Middelbeek Consult has been hired to co-develop the SCOPE Input Retailer assessment tool. Part of the development process was piloting the tool in Ethiopia, Indonesia and Honduras. Based on feedback gathered during the pilots, the tool will be improved and the finalized.
